    Our Story

    The Caring for Life Foundation has been improving the quality of healthcare in the Cayman Islands for over a decade. Founded on November 10, 2010, the mission of the Caring for Life Foundation is to continually build better healthcare for all residents of the Cayman Islands by raising funds to purchase needed medical and diagnostic equipment, provide medical training, support research and development and assist with facility expansion. Through these initiatives, the Foundation strives to continually attract and retain quality physicians, technicians and healthcare professionals to the Cayman Islands building better healthcare for all.

    What We Do

    Building Better Healthcare

    The Caring for Life Foundation is a registered not-for-profit trust helping to improve the quality of healthcare in the Cayman Islands building a healthier and happier community for future generations to come.

    To achieve this mission the Caring for Life Foundation works closely with hospitals and healthcare providers to identify the critical needs of the local healthcare industry and funding gaps to fulfill these needs. Funds raised through charitable donations allow the Caring for Life Foundation to provide much needed funding to fill funding gaps to ensure the Cayman Islands can continue to provide the highest standard of healthcare to the local community. Funding through the Foundation provides support for the:

    • Purchase of new and upgraded medical, diagnostic, and surgical equipment
    • Training and certification of medical staff
    • Research and education in the medical, diagnostic, and surgical fields
    • Aid of facility expansion
